Vantelli Disclaimer
Working MVP draft · DISCLAIMER-DEV-0.1
1. About Vantelli
Vantelli provides career decision intelligence designed to help you understand your career experience, career capital, potential pathways and career-related opportunities.
Vantelli is designed to support your decision-making. It does not make career or employment decisions for you, and its outputs should be considered as one source of information when making decisions about your career, work or business.
2. Not professional advice
Vantelli provides information and decision-support tools. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Vantelli does not provide legal, financial, tax, accounting, migration, recruitment or other regulated professional advice.
Vantelli does not act as your employer, prospective employer or recruitment decision-maker.
You remain responsible for deciding whether to pursue, accept, reject or leave a role, undertake training, commence consulting or self-employment, negotiate remuneration, or take any other career-related action. Where appropriate, you should obtain advice from a suitably qualified professional about your individual circumstances.
3. How Vantelli uses AI
Vantelli uses a structured, governed methodology and supporting technologies, including artificial intelligence.
AI may support parts of the Vantelli process, including structuring career evidence, identifying patterns, evaluating evidence against defined Vantelli criteria and producing personalised analysis or written outputs.
Vantelli's methodology governs how career information is assessed and interpreted. AI does not independently determine your career, make employment decisions for you, or replace your own judgement.
Vantelli applies controls intended to keep AI-assisted analysis grounded in the information and evidence available to the service. However, AI-assisted outputs may still contain errors, omissions or interpretations that require correction. You should review information presented about your career and tell Vantelli where information is inaccurate or incomplete.
4. Information you provide
The quality and relevance of Vantelli's analysis depend in part on the information available to it. You are responsible for ensuring, to the best of your knowledge, that information you provide is accurate and appropriately reflects your experience.
Vantelli may distinguish between information supported by supplied evidence and information that is incomplete, uncertain or cannot be responsibly assessed. The absence of information should not necessarily be interpreted as evidence that a capability, achievement or opportunity does not exist.
5. Career assessments and scores
Vantelli assessments, scores, pathway analysis and other outputs are decision-support tools created using Vantelli's methodology and the information available at the time of assessment. They are not objective certifications of your value, ability, employability or future potential.
Scores should be interpreted in the context of their underlying factors, evidence, assumptions, confidence and limitations. A higher score or pathway assessment does not necessarily mean that a particular career choice is the right choice for you.
Vantelli may update its methodologies over time. Where relevant, assessments are associated with the methodology version under which they were produced.
6. Career pathways and opportunities
Career pathways identified by Vantelli are potential options for consideration. They are not promises, job offers or guarantees that a particular role, career transition, consulting opportunity or business opportunity will be available or achievable.
Actual outcomes may depend on factors including employer decisions, competition, qualifications, location, economic conditions, industry change, personal circumstances and factors that Vantelli cannot observe or predict.
Vantelli does not guarantee that you will obtain employment, increase your income, successfully change careers, win consulting work or achieve any particular career or business outcome.
7. Market, salary and external information
Some Vantelli services may use labour-market, salary, occupational, industry or other third-party information. Market information can change quickly and may vary significantly by location, employer, seniority, sector and individual circumstances.
Where Vantelli does not have sufficiently reliable or current information to support a market-dependent conclusion, the service may qualify the conclusion, identify it as uncertain or withhold it.
Salary, income and commercial opportunity information is indicative only unless expressly stated otherwise. It should not be treated as a guarantee of remuneration, market demand or future earnings.
8. Opportunity Review and action tools
Vantelli tools such as Opportunity Review, CV Tailor and other career-action products use the information available in your Vantelli Career Graph and, where applicable, information you provide about a particular opportunity.
An Opportunity Review is an assessment against Vantelli's defined criteria. It is not a guarantee that you will be offered the role, succeed in the role or benefit from accepting it.
CV and positioning tools are intended to select and present supported career evidence. They should not be used to misrepresent qualifications, responsibilities, achievements or experience. You remain responsible for reviewing any document before providing it to an employer, recruiter, client or other third party.
9. Third-party information and services
Vantelli may rely on or link to information or services supplied by third parties. While Vantelli may use controls to assess the relevance and quality of third-party information, Vantelli does not control those third parties and cannot guarantee that their information will always be accurate, complete, current or available.
Third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
10. No guarantee of uninterrupted availability
Vantelli aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available.
Features, methodologies, data sources and services may be updated, replaced or withdrawn as the product develops, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
11. Your personal information
Vantelli processes career and account information in order to provide its services. How Vantelli collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects personal information will be described separately in the Vantelli Privacy Policy.
Where Vantelli uses AI or third-party service providers to process your information, relevant practices should also be addressed in that Privacy Policy rather than relying on this Disclaimer alone.
12. Liability and Australian Consumer Law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantelli is not responsible for losses arising solely from career, employment, commercial or other decisions you make in reliance on Vantelli outputs without considering your own circumstances and judgement.
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including any applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Changes to this Disclaimer
Vantelli may update this Disclaimer as the service, methodology, technology or legal requirements develop. Where appropriate, the current version and effective date will be made available through the Vantelli website.
